Thanks for the interest. I was born in Hartford, spent my boyhood in Win sted. Got unfairly expelled from school because of a minor prank. Best thing that ever happened to me. Went to work writing captions for the local newspaper (no salary). Haven't been back in many years. Ralph Nader is also from Winsted. His father owned a candy store. Syrian sort. Also from there David Halberstam. Excellent non fiction writer. My roots seems so distant.
